Epicus

P.G.I. PELOPONNISOS
Produced from Greek Agiorigitiko variety in private vineyards with limited grape yields in Achladia of Nemea.

Characteristics

The alcoholic fermentation and extraction takes place in refrigerated stainless tanks. The malolactic fermentation is full and the ageing duration is a few months long and takes place in used 300lt oak french barrels with medium burn. The colour is vivid red with iodine highlights and complex scent of red fruits, sweet spices and a touch of nuts. The gentle tannins combined with the balanced acidity and the rich aftertaste create it’s elegant structure. The ageing potential is for three to five years.

Food Pairing: Red juicy meat, spicy red sauce and game birds meat.
